This Legal Center explains, in plain language, how SourceLine Mediai and BlackLatino Records protect the catalog, license music, use AI and handle your information. The short version: stream and share our links freely. Any other use of our music, artwork or artist identities needs written permission.

SourceLine Mediai is an independent music publishing and creative studio based in New York, and the home of BlackLatino Records. Our music is released through third-party platforms, including SoundCloud and YouTube.

Nothing on this website is an offer of a license or a binding agreement. All licenses, commissions and collaborations require a signed written agreement with SourceLine Mediai.

Ownership. All music, lyrics, artwork, videos, text, logos and other content on this site belong to SourceLine Mediai or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.

What you can do. Stream our music, watch our videos and share links to this site and our official channels for personal, non-commercial use.

What needs written permission. Downloading, copying, re-uploading, sampling, remixing, selling, syncing or broadcasting our content; using it to train or prompt AI models; or presenting it as your own.

Third-party platforms. SoundCloud, YouTube and our social channels are governed by their own terms.

No warranties. This site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, SourceLine Mediai is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We may update them at any time; the date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version.

What we collect. The name, email address and message you send us through the contact form or by email, the email address you enter to join our mailing list, plus basic analytics (pages visited, browser type and approximate location) collected through cookies.

How we use it. To answer inquiries, handle licensing requests and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner on this site. Embedded SoundCloud and YouTube players may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Service providers. This site is hosted by GoDaddy, which processes data on our behalf.

Your choices. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing sourcelinemediainy@gmail.com.

Children. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

SourceLine Mediai respects intellectual property rights and expects others to do the same. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send us a written notice. The full notice and counter-notice steps are in the DMCA Notices section below.

Written license required. No music from the SourceLine Mediai or BlackLatino Records catalog may be used in film, TV, trailers, advertising, podcasts, games, YouTube, social media or any other project without a written license.

One-stop clearance. SourceLine Mediai controls both the master recording and the publishing on its catalog, so one agreement clears both sides.

Per-project terms. Each license is issued for a specific project and sets out the media, territory, term and fee. Instrumentals, clean edits and stems are available on request, and custom music can be written to your brief.

Get started. Visit the Sync Licensing page or email sourcelinemediainy@gmail.com with your project, the track and how you plan to use it.

Protected identities. SourceLine Mediai, BlackLatino Records, The Architect and every artist and persona on the roster, including BlackLatino, Jack Mercer, El Negro, Scarlet Ave, Sons of Static, Raw Intent, Cipher Prophet and Private Equity, are original creative identities owned by SourceLine Mediai.

What's covered. Names, logos, cover art, silhouettes, visual signatures, taglines, storylines and catalog concepts.

Not allowed without written permission. Imitating or impersonating our artists, creating look-alike or sound-alike content, using our names or logos to promote other products, or registering confusingly similar names, handles or domains.

Report misuse. If you see someone using our identities without permission, email sourcelinemediainy@gmail.com.

The "AI" in Mediai is intentional. SourceLine Mediai uses artificial intelligence tools as instruments in the studio: to sketch ideas, test arrangements and move faster.

AI is never the author. Every song, story and visual is conceived, written, directed, selected and approved by a human creative team led by The Architect.

Used responsibly. We use AI tools in line with their terms of service, and we do not imitate the voice or likeness of any real artist without permission.

Ask us. Licensees can request details on how a specific track was made.

A record for every release. To protect the catalog and our licensees, SourceLine Mediai keeps timestamped session notes, drafts, lyric revisions, prompts, project files, exports, release metadata and registration records where applicable.

Why it matters. These records document human authorship and creative control from first idea to final master.

Verification. When appropriate, these records can be shared to confirm ownership in licensing, distribution or rights disputes.
